I am physically back from my heaven- Phuket. Now I know where to escape when I need a break. Phuket is a wonderful place. The men are nice when they don't ask you for tuk-tuk. Even then, they are still nice. I secretly think that even if tsunami came, it would be worthed it.
Service with heart, when will Singaporeans ever learn that? I exceptionally love island hopping with the really fun-loving people. They do their job everyday yet they make every single tourist feel special. They went all the way just to make you smile. Every half an hour they asked if you feel happy as if the world revolved around your happiness. As long as you are happy, nothing else matters. That's very touching. Forget about bootlicking and ego boosting, they are sincere.
Canoeing, Thai-massage, Parasailing, island hoping, cave exploring, shopping, Big-C, swim... I have done them all. Should have gone to Tiger though. Damn, 4-days trip is just too short for me. I reckon 2 weeks would be perfect. Then I will go island hopping 2 times, parasailed three times without landing in the water and with an instructor, swim everday, drink more Tom-Yum Goong...
Sob, I miss Phuket! I even miss the feeling of rejecting the Tuk-tuk drivers. Well, at least my soul is still there.
Been to heaven Back to Hell
